How to block iMessages under emails instead of numbers?
So this girl i know got my number somehow and she always adds me to these group iMessages, which i guess i can't just delete myself out of. I don't have a problem with her adding me but she adds like 10 other people and my phone gets completely blown up and it makes it so slow and everything crashes. I've asked her not to add me to those conversations but she still does it! I want to block her but since she's using an iPad for iMessage, she's under an email not an actual phone number. I have an iPhone under Verizon and i was wondering if i could block her under an email or leave the group message or pretty much anything.
IOS 7 when its released is susposed to have built in blocking capabilities for calls and messages. Not sure if it fits your specific need, but you may have to wait for that to be released.
- Why is my new iPhone sending iMessages from my e-mail instead of my number? I got a new iPhone for Christmas and when I tried sending a message to my friend, she said it came up as my e-mail. My number is selected but when I unselect the e-mail, I can't send messages.
- Why is my Iphone not sending as Imessages and receiving iMessages from one person? I'm texting my wife and we both have iPhone's and she is getting the messages as an iMessage but the ones I'm sending her on my end show up at green. Sometime it will go as blue, get the little red exclamation point then send as regular SMS. I'm texting someone else too and she has an iPhone, and she is getting mine as regular iMessages and mine are sending as regular iMessages. Why aren't they sending to me wife as iMessages?
- Why do both numbers show up under imessage? I have 2 iphones. One is supplied through work, and the other one is my personal phone. I used my apple id on both of them. I notice when I go in the messing or facetime settings, both phone numbers are listed on my personal phone. Will this cause any problems, or is this normal since I'm using imessage on both iphones? I don't see a option to delete the number.
- Using MyVerizon to block numbers on iPhone 4S? On the MyVerizon site there's a feature that allows me to block up to 5 numbers at a time for 90 days and I used it to block a number on my iPhone 4s, but am still getting messages from this person! Does this feature only block calls and not texts? Or is it something to do with my particular phone? Please help, this person is driving me insane and I need to shut them out before I go crazy!
