How to bring a iphone with AT&T contract from US to India?

My boyfriend is on 15 day vacation to US now. He is saying he can get a iphone just for 15$ from AT&T. But they are asking for social security number as id proof. Is there any possibility that he can buy a iphone on cheap rate from US and bring here in India. We're planning to jailbreak it after coming to india. But question is how is possible to bring iphone from US to india with out sigining a contract, But he don't want to spend a big money such as buying from apple retail store

Well, there's no way. Unless you can get someone in the US to help you pay the bills and sign up for a contract, there's no other way to get it at this price. It's either that or you pay for off contract.

  • Should I get iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S? No contract or with contract? I don't know what exactly is so much better with the 5 compared to 4S?
