I had wanted to buy an htc one or iPhone5s on contract bases & use it in india?
Actually my brothers frd stays in usa & he's cumin to India very soon so I was thinking to tel him to get an HTC one or iPhone5s on contract bases bcoz it costs us $199 & get the phone in India n unlock it to use it for life time… Will it b possible to get an iPhone5s or htc one on contract bases & unlock here in India will il b in any problem if v do all these process… Please reply me fr my question…
Yes, you can I did the same for my HTC One US phone. I unlocked it using the unlock code from Onlinegsmunlock.com and removed the network lock permanently. Once unlocked I was able to use it with Indian carriers. You also can follow the same if you get a HTC One… I'm not aware of iPhone 5S unlocking. But better find out if it is possible to unlock in a legit way and then get the phone from US.
