How to change restrictions passcode on iphone without laptop? I forgot it?
Can't be done. Must be via iTunes on a host computer, using the security credentials of whoever set the restrictions
If there was a bypass then the security and the restrictions would be useless.
The only thing is to do a restore in DFU mode through iTunes. That's about the only thing you can do. This of course will erase anything that wasn't backed up to iCloud or some other place.
- My iPhone 4s won't let me reset it without a restrictions passcode? It says I need to put in the restriction password to do it but I never made a restriction password I don't know what it's talking about… Is there a way to erase that password I have no idea what it is or how it's on there

So my friend was looking through my messages so i quickly changed the passcode but my brightness was down so i don't know what i put so I don't know the passcode/ don't remember it i keep trying to guess but it keeps disabling since i never updated to IOS 7 i was wondering id i do that now will it ask me to put in a new passcode or do i definitely have to restore? I have 9 failed attempts, what happens if I get to 10? I know the phone will be wiped, but does that mean everything will be put to factory settings, or that I can't use my phone at all, or I won't be able to guess the password anymore? Sidenote- Non-jail broken iPhone 3GS, iOS 6.0.1. And I don't own a computer and I can't restore it from one anyway.
