How to change your iPhones name?

Like on the iPhone on the right top corner next to the time it's says your phones network like Verizon, Sprint etc. How do you change it? I see ppl on twitter or Facebook that takes screen shots on their iPhones and it has their names on it or something else. Can you do that without jail breaking your phone? If so, how? I have an iPhone 3G btw.

  • When you change your twitter name does it sign you out from the iPhone app? My mom took away my ipod and computer and I changed my twitter name during so she doesn't read every one of my tweets (she probably saw a lot of them already). I know that when you change your username if signs you out of the computer, but does it sign you out of the iPhone/iPod app too? (I can't even delete the twitter app or sign out on my ipod because I don't know where she put it)
  • What's the other name for Sprint? Which other name or abbreviation is used? I want to know if Sprint is also called by another name. Because i want to have my Iphone 4s unlocked, but i can't see Sprint on the given options listed by the OS unlocking softwares
  • Text message name shows last name instead of first on iPhone 5S? I have changed the contacts to be first, last for mail, contacts, calendars but it's still only showing the person's last name in the text message. How do I change it to show the full name or the first name?
  • IPhone name is wrong, how do I change it I got a new iPhone 4S and gave my daughter my old iPhone 3GS. We had problems to start with to do with iCloud and syncing things but we got it sorted except for one thing. On iTunes and in my settings (this is on my phone) it says the phone is under my name, but when I ask Siri what my name is, it keeps saying my daughter's name. And in my contacts, her name is the name highlighted in blue and mine is not. Why is this and how do I change it? Much appreciated.
