How to CLEAR a text conversation with iOS 7?
I have an iPhone 4 and just updated my software to iOS 7 last night. It's a big change. I used to be able to go to a conversation with someone click edit, then clear all. This would erase my texts with the person but not the actual contact of them in my messages. I know this sounds dumb and confusing but I would really appreciate any help!
Double tap any text bubble. Then select "more" and then ' delete all'. Then 'delete conversation'
is this easier than iOS 6? NO
or you can hit the garbage can in bottom to delete just that bubble.
seems like change for change sake. Not for the better.
- Will updating to iOS 7 clear my data? If I update to iOS 7 on my iPhone 5 version 6.1.4, will updating clear out my apps, photos, data? Also, will my phone number stay on the iPhone 5? As in that it won't clear out and have to head back to the store to fix it?
- What straight talk phone holds text messages like a conversation like an iphone does? I really want a phone that can hold conversations so I don't have to keep deleting messages. I use straight talk from walmart.
- Is there a way to read a text conversation from the very beginning (iPhone)? My friend and I have been sending texts back and forth for a while and I want re-read them from the very first text (out of curiosity and boredom). I have an iPhone 6. Is there anything I can do?
- How to not have the text conversation show on the lock screen (iPhone 4)? I have friends who have an iPhone and when they get texts the conversation doesn't show up on the lock screen it just says "Text message" so people can't look over and see the convo. How can I get this on my phone? I Have the iPhone 4.Is it even possible or do I need a 4S?
