How to connect my iphone to a 2006 car?

It seems unlikely but with the technology today, there might be a way. I'm going to be driving soon and with the car my parents are letting me use, is a 2006 Infiniti QX56. It has Bose speakers and I really don't want to waste it on the radio. I could make CD's but hooking up my iPhone seems a lot, lot better.

Could you not get an aux cable and connect it from your speakers straight into the audio out jack of your iphone? Otherwise maybe look up bluetooth capabilities?

If you want to play your music into the car you could buy an aux lead and plug that into your car and into your iPhone I do this all the time it works perfectly!

If the car stereo doesn't have an aux input you could use a cassette adapter or an fm transmitter.

Assuming there's an aux port on the radio, you could get a dual side headphone cable & use that.

  • What is the aux button on the ford fusion 2006 for? Just got a ford fusion and it has an aux button for nothing to plug your phone in. Is it secretly somewhere? Do you sync your phone (I have an iphone 5). Or is this button just for show?
  • What everyday items do we use today that we didn't have in 2006? • Syncing IPhone 4S Bluetooth with 2006 Prius Bluetooth? I just purchased an IPhone 4S and it will not sync with the bluetooth on my 2006 Prius. I have been to my Toyota Dealer who sent me back to Verizon store who said reinstall software on phone, which I did No luck. Any suggestions?
  • How to charge my iPhone in my car without an actual car charger? I'm going on a long road trip. Since the iPhone battery doesn't usually last long, i was wondering if there's another way to charge my phone without a car charger. Because my lighter doesn't work due to a broke fuse in my fuse box… Anyway- is there any alternative to keeping my phone charged?
