How to connect my iTunes onto my windows 8 laptop?

I have just got my first apple product and I'm wanting to put my music from my laptop onto my iPhone 4, everyone tells me its possible but I need to connect my iTunes to my laptop but I have no clue how to, if you know how please tell me thanks

First, forget iTunes. There are plenty of programs that will sync to an ipod or iphone, without the DRM nightmare that is iTunes. I suggest trying MediaMonkey or any of the other media manager/player programs that will sync.

I highly suggest the program I'm using now. SynciOS, you can can add local music files from your PC to iPhone. It's absolutely free. Besides exporting, importing functions, you can also transfer data between ios and android devices. The only pain of this program is iTunes still needs to be installed.

LOOK JUST USE iTunes it's a lot safer than downloading a third party software that could have viruses or map ware just download iTunes and connect you iPhone to you PC or Laptop via USB and make sure it's unlocked and iTunes is open then just set up the phone as new it will pop up and sync then create a new playlist and drag and drop all the songs into that playlist then look in the top right corner on iTunes and click your iDevice and go to music and hit add selected playlists and then choose that playlist. MAKE SURE EVERY TIME YOU WANNA ADD NEW MUSIC TO KEEP THE PLAYLIST CHECKED.
