How to connect my PS3 to the internet via IPhone 5c hotspot?
I have tried pretty much everything, and it will not connect. It doesn't show up at all on the playstation, and while I type in the ssid (A) and password, it always times out when trying to figure out an IP?
It's downright maddening 'cause I have no other means of connecting it to the Internet and I need it in order to connect my PSN and Steam accounts via Portal 2 so I can get the PC copy free.
Usually PS3 doesn't work with mobile hotspots, or if it does it's extremely limited. Rarely will a PS3 actually properly work with a mobile hotspot. The only way to properly connect is through a standard broadband connection.
- Would it be ok if I connect my iPhone via usb to my internet router? My router is right by my bed and it would be a good power source for my phone to charge on. But is this ok to do?
- Will I be charged for sharing my internet connection via the personal hotspot on my iPhone? If I wanted to let someone use the Wi-Fi by turning on the personal hotspot on my phone will I be charged?
- Why won't my xbox 360 connect to the internet but will connect to my iphone hotspot? Ill play cod bo2 almost daily and my xbox will connect to my mobile hotspot on my iphone 4s fine, but out of no where it will lag out and disconnect me from xbox live, its not a hardware issue everything connects normally, full bars and everything the phone still lets me get on the internet, but my xbox will not, why D:?
- When I connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot, I can't connect to Gmail or Twitter? My iPhone connects to other people's networks fine, but when I'm using public hotspots gmail and twitter say no Internet connection. Why? Is there a way round it?
