How to connect to a network and also use my laptop as a router simultaniously?

Basically i have a laptop a nexus 7 and an iphone… I want to connect my laptop to a router and then connect nexus and iphone to laptop to use the laptops internet…

i have tried the ADHOC method and it will not let me do it, it won't let me connect to 2 etworks… Any solutions, i know the windows OS will not allow 2 internet connections so i don't need to be told that lol just a solution please, thanks in advanced!

Added (1). I would connect straight to the router with nexus and iphone but its a weak signal and my laptop is very strong so its ideal for it… Its bugging me a little

Assuming your router has Wi-Fi (and I don't see why is shouldn't be) then your iphone should be able to connect directly to the router without going through the laptop

If you have Windows 7 or 8 it is very possible check out this link below

If you are one of 3550 out 8000 that can't do this for free checkout connectify-me

  • What's the difference between a cheap router and a good router? Just wanted to know the difference between a cheap router and an expensive router, I know that is a very broad question, I'm just a bit confused on how a router works. Does it increase my Internet speed on multiple devices? I get 50Mb per second, Well at least that's what I pay for. I have a PS3 two iPhones and a tablet, as well as a desktop PC that is wireless. Can anyone recommend an excellent router under $150
  • What lense should I use that is not too expensive and for a beginner? And also a good camera? So recently I've been taking pics on my iPhone and I love taking pics since I was so young so I want to know if I'm really that serious about photography and not waste a lot of money on it without making sure.
  • One laptop can connect to our home Wi-Fi network but no other devices can connect? We recently set up a wireless internet connection in our house. One laptop can connect to it (the one I'm currently on) but no other devices can connect to it. It says our "Network Security Key" is mismatched. I have tried typing in all the different codes on both the router and modem on both our second laptop and an iPhone 5. How can I fix this?
  • Laptop won't connect to internet through router? I set up my new linksys n300 router and I can successfully connect to the internet through the Wi-Fi on my iphone but on my laptop, I get an exclamation point symbol. Troubleshooting the problem says its a problem with my access point but seeing as how the Wi-Fi works on my phone, I'm not sure this is the case. How can I fix this?
