How to connect to my Wi-Fi network? (NOT A NORMAL PROBLEM)?

My brother decided to be mean and made it so that my iPhone and my laptop isn't able to use the internet. When I turn my Wi-Fi on it shows me all of the bars and says that it's connected but when I try to use the internet it doesn't work. I need to know how to get into the system and change this.

Unfortunately he probably changed the password of your router. Call the company that provides your Wi-Fi connection and ask them to reset it. They will ask personal questions so make sure the person that actually has the account with them is there with you.

All routers have a reset buttom on the back. Sometimes it is a button and others have a small hole that you can reset by inserting a paper clip or toothpick to press the reset button that is inside.

Just google your router manufacturer's website ( write down the model number first so you can select the proper instruction manual) and it will tell you how to reset the router and change the password. If you can find the instruction manual that came with the router tat is what you will need.
Once you have changed the password only you will be able to access the internet.

But if you are not sure how to do this you can really mess up and no one will be able to connect.
Better to ask your brother for the password.

If you're able to connect, and just have internet problems then you don't need to worry about connection. What is probably happening is that the router just needs to be reset so that whatever you're brother did to your phone can be undone. Go to your router, and you should see a small button on the back. Click it and it may take around 2 minutes and your Iphone should reconnect. If the internet still doesn't work it is probably something that you're provider is doing. For example, if you have Roger's, they're probably just screwing around with it trying to make it better. Which shuts it down for a couple of days. And if none of these are good solutions, go to your brother and demand him show you EXACTLY what he did. He could've potentially shut down your network somehow, or even turned off the internet so you can still connect to Wi-Fi, but not internet. Get your brother to fix it.

There could be a bunch of possibilities. He could have removed the Ethernet cable, or who knows?

This sort of problem will not be solved by technical workarounds. Tell your parents, hopefully they will be on your side.
