How to converts files for playback on my connected devices?

I have ripped DVD files, yet can't play on my iPhone 6. How can I make it work?

Which computer system are you using… More specifically, which Operating System?

What format have you ripped the videos to?

If you're using a Windows Operating System, MacX are giving away a version of MacX DVD Ripper for Windows right now, but it's only going to last until 15th May, so grab it whilst you can.

This program CAN rip DVD to iPhone 6. I've just checked by inserting a DVD into my computer and seeing which formats it can convert to.

  • Is scanning a LAN for devices connected to it illigal? I got this app on my iPhone called Fing - Network Scanner by Overlook Soft, and when I connect to Wi-Fi, it lets me see what devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi. It also gives me that device's IP address and MAC address. Is this considered Port Scanning? Please enlighten me, I don't want to get banned by the Wi-Fi or get that Wi-Fi banned by its ISP. If intent is important, my intent is just to know out of curiosity.
