How to copy music from my iPhone onto iTunes on my Mac?
I have about 500 songs on my iPhone, and I'd like to take them from my phone and put them on my iTunes. Its a new computer, thus a new itunes…
Any programs or suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Step 1 is to log-in to iTunes on your new pc, with your EXISTING Username and Password. Then, authorize your new Mac on iTunes. And sign up for iCloud when prompted.
Once logged in to your existing iTunes Store account, connect your iPhone and it will automatically SYNC, and you will have copies of everything you purchased on your new Mac, and your iPhone.
TIP: Remember that all of your Purchases will be safely backed up, under the Purchases TAB, as long as you don't lose your existing iTunes log-in info.
- When you sync your iphone to your computer does it copy everything onto your pc? I have broke my iphone to the point where it is un repairable, i only sync my iphone the other day to my pc does this mean everything what was on my iphone was copied and saved to it? Or have i lost everything?
- Songs from iTunes won't copy onto iPhone? Every time I click "Sync" on iTunes a pop-up comes up; "Some of the items in the iTunes library were not copied to the iPhone because they could not be found." It plays the songs that were "not found" in iTunes, but not on my phone.
- Itunes won't copy music to my iPhone? I have itunes 11 and my iphone is iOS 6. I always manually copy (click and drag) my music to my iphone, and it works with some songs and others it doesn't. I have 3 or 4 songs I really want on my phone but won't copy. And I've tried syncing but that doesn't work either.
- I've been using my iPhone on my Mac, but my Mac's busted. Can I use it with the iTunes on my PC? I had a MacBook pro which has had problems. Luckily I have a new PC with iTunes on it. What happens when I connect my iPhone to the PC and try and Sync music or update the software? Will it work?
