How to cure chronic eye strain?

I started getting this after getting an iPhone and using it to do work. It's been around for about 6 months now. How can I cure this?

Ye strain can be difficult to treat since you have to use your eyes constantly. To add even more difficulty, all the eye muscles involved are internal and difficult to isolate. But you can treat the symptoms of eye strain and improve your eyes to help prevent eye strain. The best way to treat eye strain is to prevent eye strain in the first place. Understanding the causes of eye strain and how to counteract them will go a long way towards prevention.more info from this link.

The obvious answer is REST.

You did not mention your age, and whether or not you wear glasses or contacts.

If you are nearsighted and wear contacts, you may need to wear some weak reading glasses to use the iPhone, or take your contacts out.

We do not have enough info to fully answer this question.

See an optometrist or ophthalmologist. You are likely far-sighted (called long sighted in the UK). You can accommodate for this, so everything looks clear, but this constant accommodation will strain your eyes. It won't cause permanent damage, but it will cause pain, as you're well aware.

What has helped me a bit is Bilberry 10, 000 Plus Vision Defence Formula as in

Each capsule contains 10, 000 mg or 10 gm of bilberry extract plus several other ingredients and you take 2 capsules per day.

About every 6 months I take these capsules for about 2 months and they seem to help a bit.

You can get Bilberry 10, 000 Plus at Health Stores. I have not seen it in a Chemist or Pharmacy.

  • What's wrong with my eye? (picture)? It's a little hard to see, maybe, because my iPhone couldn't seem to get a good picture. It's like 3/4 blue/gray, and 1/4 hazel-brownish looking? What is it? And how rare is it? I've only seen animals with it, no people. I know people have it but I've never met a person with different colors in their eyes at the same time.
