How to delete linked Facebook contacts from my iPhone contacts?

I just had a new IPhone activated and all of my Facebook friends are in my contacts and when I hit delete contact it says 'linked Facebook contact will not be deleted.' Is there any way I can delete them from my phones contacts?

Go on settings and scroll down where you see the Facebook app thingy and click it and sign out

Settings > Facebook
Make sure contacts is set to off

  • This iPhone is currently linked to an Apple ID? I'm completely restoring my iPhone and I got the following error message: "This iPhone is currently linked to an Apple ID". I have no idea what the apple ID is though that it is asking for. Do you think the Apple Store will be able to help me and bypass this?

I assume the esn must be good if I got his text on it? Does he just need to call Verizon and have the phones deactivated? BTW he restored the phones before I got them. When I set them up they activated.
