How to delete music from Iphone5?
Hi, I recently just got a replacement iphone 5 since my last one broke and when I preformed an icloud backup it restored a bunch of music i haven't had in years on my device. These songs have a little icloud symbol at the end of each of the song names and can't be deleted. They also don't show up when I plug my phone into my computer in either "on this iphone" or "purchased".So how do I get ride of them? They're kind of really embarrassing and take up memory I would rather use for my current music taste okay thank you.
You can delete it 2 ways.
On the computer you activated your phone on in iTunes. Pick the song and delete it
OR
On the iTunes app itself.
If the songs are not showing, then you need to sync your phone first with iTunes on whatever computer you used to activate it on.

- Music won't play on iphone5 ios7 via control center? Anyone else having this problem? I'll pull up my control center when my phone is unlocked and push the "play" button and nothing plays? Even when it shows a title of the song there, it still won't play! I have to actually go into the music app and play it which gets very annoying. Same goes when my phone is locked and listening to music, the skip button via the control center won't work.
- Iphone5 and ipod won't put any new music in artist section? My iphone and my ipod all of a sudden have stoped putting artists in the artist section when i put the music on either device. I know all about "get info" and the artist name is all set, its not a "various artist" problem. I know the music has gone on to both devices though because the music can be accessed under albums and songs just not artist which is the easiest way to find things in my opinion.instead the artist section says i have no music?
- If i delete music from itunes, will it delete from the iphone? My mom and i share an i tunes, but i have to sync her music too. I don't want that. If i delete the music listed on there, will it delete the music from her phone?
- How to retrieve notes that I didn't delete on my iphone5? So I went into my notes on my iPhone 5 and it said something like no notes and I had at least 6-7 notes already in there and I really don't know how they all got deleted!
