How to delete recents contacts on iPhone 5?
My dad changed he's number so I've deleted his old number and added his new number.
Now every time I start a new convo with him on text. I type in 'Dad' and his old number that I deleted still comes up. How do I stop it coming up?
I've reset the phone and its still there.
You can do it with the iTunes.iTunes used when you connect to the PC there you can delete contacts.

- Why won't my iPhone 4s let me delete the contacts completely? I have deleted the contact but when I go and send a new text their name still pops up, but when you press the name to text them the number comes up. For example if the name comes up "Sally" and you tap it it'll show up as "(123)456-7890." But I want to delete the contact completely! How? I have already deleted their text as well. I have the phone number of an old friend stored on my iPhone and they also show on my whatsapp contact list… Does this mean that they still have my phone number stored in their phone and also have whatsapp installed on their phone? The chat thing says they haven't been seen since 28th sept? If they didn't have my number on their phone would they still show as one of my contacts on whatsapp?
