How to deposit Wells Fargo checks by taking pictures with your iPhone?
I just want to know how to deposit without having to go to an ATM.
Either take it into Wells Fargo or bring it to an ATM. They need the actual thing, not a picture or photocopy of it.
If Wells Fargo has an app you can download it might have a feature that allows you to take photos of your checks to deposit them into your account.
You download the Wells Fargo app to your iPhone. If you don't have the Wells Fargo app & you haven't signed up for mobile banking then you can't take a picture of your checks to have them deposited.
edit:
ah, Peter, Peter, Peter. I see the 21st century is moving too fast for you.
Keep an eye on what Chase is doing w/ banking. Wells Fargo/ Wachovia tend to follow them fairly quickly.
You must have a smartphone to use the service.
Download the app (it is free) and sign up for mobile banking.
There's then a link within the app to take a picture of and deposit the check into your account. It has clear instructions.
- Why doesn't wells fargo work? I have an iPhone 6 and i can't connect to wells fargo at all. I've tried the app, Safari, and chrome. I can't connect on any of these! I've tried everything i can think of, deleting the app, restarting my phone, even resetting the network settings. Nothing is working.
- Why are all wireless companies charging a deposit on iPhone 5s? I've tried every cell phone company and they never mention a deposit fee, until I enter all my info then submit. On the finalizing page, they all say I have to put a $400 deposit down. Does anyone know why all companies are doing that?
- What pops up when Apple checks your iPhone one year warranty? Like besides if you still have it or not, like what shows up? They don't get anything like my phone info within my carrier (Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.), right? Or do they? And they check with your phones series number, right?
- Multiple smaller checks to avoid the $1000+ funds availability hold at USAA? I have USAA and I plan on using the Deposit@Mobile method of depositing with the USAA iPhone app. I want to deposit $1200 on Monday but I need the funds a few hours after I create and scan the checks in. I plan on using two $600 checks to bypass the $1000 funds availability hold regulation (that is federally enforced, to my understanding). Any potential blow back?
