How to find out the number of a prank caller?

Someone called me on my iPhone with a no caller ID and I spoke to them for about a minute and I want to know who is it, how can I do that?

Next time, ASK them. Otherwise there's no way. At least no way that does not involve getting a court order and a trace on your phone line (in case they call again). And that is not happening unless a crime was being committed or you were threatened.

  • What's the difference between an 'unkown' caller and 'no caller ID'? This unknown number keeps ringing me, and i thought if someone blocked their numbers (on iphones) it comes up as no caller ID so i'm not sure if it is still a blocked number or a number that can't come trhough. But when i answer nobody speaks and they've rang one of my friends so its not a scam phone call also they don't speak at all so if it was a company of some sort they must of spoken so its probably a prank call but i wanna know the difference to make sure.

I think he called today because no caller id called me two times 10pm and then no answer from me so again at 10:01pm. It the same way the guy i blocked calls me if i don't answer the first time he try again one more

Also, when i try to put it on speaker, it goes off speaker in a couple seconds.
