How do you fix an iPhone 4S if it has been water logged for like a year?
Put it in a bowl of rice. It will soak up the water. Lol heard that in a book
You don't. After that long of being waterlogged, the electrical contacts are likely covered with corrosion and likely causing short circuits throughout the entire phone.
After a year of being waterlogged… It's a paperweight at best.
- Why does it feel as if the year 2012 was the last of the real time. & everything after has been weird in the world? After 2012 stuff really started to change for the worse in this world. Is it just me? Real music Real people Less social media And iPhones Etc
- Water logged iphone? How long do I leave it in rice? My iphone SE was sitting in a big puddle on the counter for about 15 min before I noticed. The phone was still in working condition but had a few dark and blurry spots on the screen. I went to get rice and the spots seemed to have spread. I put rice in a ziplock bag and completely covered my phone in the rice. The bag was sealed and I'm wondering how long I need to leave the phone inside? I need to use my phone the next day and I'm not sure if it will be alright.
- Water-logged iPhone 7 Plus? Hi! So I was snorkeling in a lake and found a rather new iPhone 7 Plus about 7 feet down. I have been drying it and the SiM card out for about 2 hours and plugged it in. The phone is still working, but as the phone is not mine, I don't know the password to fix it on Itunes. Any suggestions?
- My iPhone 5s has been dead for over a year is there any way to turn it back on? I've tried pressing all the buttons down for a couple seconds and the hairdryer trick, but they didn't work. I want to use my iPhone 5s for storing pictures and music because I'm already running out of space on my iPhone 6s. I don't want to spend money going to the Apple Store to get it fixed. Is there anything I can do to turn it back on? Nothing comes up it's just a black screen.
