How to fix iPhone 4 jailbroken thats stuck in boot loop?
Please help me. My iPhone has been like this for like 3 days and this really sucks. It first started when i was just tweaking my phone up and i some how deleted cydia. I forgot how but i think my phone died and then it just started to boot loop. Its jailbroken from redsnow and the iphone is 5.1.3. Anybody? This is URGENT!
Listen carefully
first plug in to pc and put in [DFU] mode to do this power off while pluged in hold power 3 secs withput realeasing power hold home for 15 secs let go of power and hold home for 10 secs then unplug and replug it if it worked it won't turn on then connect to pc and enter itunes and restore
The Jailbreaking ProcessIf the boot loop begins during the process of jailbreaking the iPhone, unplug the iPhone immediately and hold down the "Home" and "Lock" buttons to forcefully power the device off. Recovery and RestorationIf attempts to force the iPhone to turn off are unsuccessful, the iPhone has entered an interface known as "recovery mode," which essentially renders it unusable until you restore the iPhone to its factory settings. To restore the iPhone, plug it into the computer, then open iTunes and choose the "Restore" option from the "Summary" tab. Restoring wipes all data off the iPhone; although once the restore is complete, you are able to replace the data to correspond to what was on the iPhone the last time you synced it. Reasons Not to Repeat JailbreakOnce you restore the iPhone, it becomes re-locked to its original carrier and any features you had post-jailbreaking -- most specifically, third-party app store "Cydia" -- are gone from the iPhone. If the hassle of resolving the boot loop isn't enough to deter you from jailbreaking the iPhone again, understand that this error is one of countless that may occur when you jailbreak the iPhone. Apple WarrantyA further reason not to repeat the jailbreak is that once the iPhone is jailbroken, its one-year limited warranty is null and void. This means not only that further damage you cause during a jailbreak isn't covered, but that any problem that arises from the iPhone once you jailbreak it requires out-of-pocket payment in order to resolve.
