How to fix iPhone in recovery mode?
Yesterday I went to install the new iOS7 on my iPhone 4.It seemed to install fine and didn't take too long, however it was telling me to plug it into iTunes.
I did so, only for it to tell me that it couldn't connect. I was told to try and recover my iPhone so I did and I lost all the data (presumably; I haven't actually been able to get past the iTunes plug in screen) and despite how many times I have tried it is saying there's an error when I try to restore the iPhone. I tried on a separate computer and on my own original computer but it keeps coming up with errors saying that it could not restore.
Any suggestions?

Try to put your iPhone in DFU mode
Entering DFU Mode (Official Instructions)
Plug your device into your computer.
Turn off the device.
Hold the Power button for 3 seconds
Hold the Home button without releasing the Power button for 10 seconds
Release the Power Button but keep holding the Home button
Keep holding the Home button until you are alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode
Also use a different cable and make sure your internet connections are good.

After trying for way too long to get my jailbroken Iphone 4s (5.1.1) out of recovery mode, I'd like to know if it's even possible… I have spent more than 10 hours the past month or so trying but never getting anywhere. Could I take it to someone? Anymore suggestions b4 I put it in a drawer or start trying to sell parts to but a new phone?

- Iphone will not restore from recovery mode? I tried to restore my iphone via itunes but is now stuck in recovery mode. I press 'Restore' on itunes and it downloads the software (takes about half an hour!) and then nothing happens. There's no error message or anything. I've tried this several times now. I've uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and I've tried turning off my firewall. Nothing has worked so far and my phone is out of action. Any ideas?
- IPhone has detected an iPhone in recovery mode, Will I lose pictures? It say I must restore the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes. The screen on phone only has a plug into iTunes logo on it. I need to make sure my pics are backed up but Can't get into phone to check. Is there a way to stop mandatory restore?
