How to fix my iPhone stuck in the Recovery Mode loop?

I recently tried to update my iPhone 4s to iOS 7.1.2. After the update, the iPhone went into recovery mode and now I can't seem to get it out of the loop. I have tried RecBoot, redsn0w, Tinyumbrella, and I have also tried sn0wbreeze and IREB but the versions I had told me that IREB doesn't do the iPhone 4s and that sn0breeze doesn't do iOS 7.1.2. Anything could help because I have things on my phone that can't be replaced. I have learned now to back up as often as I can.

You can try a DFU restore. Your data on the phone will be gone with a dfu restore. Hold down the power button and home button for about 15 secs, then release the power button while still holding the home button, you will get a pop up on itunes to restore.

  • Jailbroken iphone stuck in recovery loop? One of my friends at school jailbroke my iphone 3g a long time ago and it was cool until i went to update and restore it. Now its stuck in a endless recovery loop with a screen with a picture of a usb chord below the itunes symbol. I tried going into dfu mode that didn't work.
