How to free up space on my iPhone 4 8gb?

So I have an 8gb iPhone 4 and I'm constantly running out of space. I only have 1.9gb of pics (like 600ish), 6 apps, and absolutely no songs. What can I do to free up space?

Delete some pics and apps you don't use regularly. I don't know how you're always running out of space. I have the same phone. I only have 15 pics, bc i always delete my pics, I have 400+ songs 20 apps
