How to get 3g on iphone 4 during calls?
I lose my 3g when i call someone is this normal cuz i can't text cuz of not having 3g what can i do?
Are you really so ADHD that you can't have a phone conversation without doing other things at the same time?
You must have an iPhone that only works on CDMA like Verizon or Sprint.AT&T has GSM. The difference is that GSM allows you to use your 3G on texting, web surfing etc while on a call. CDMA doesn't not support that.
Speeds do drop when on a call yes. You don't need 3G to text, in fact you don't need any sort of data connection to send a text since that is dependent on the network only.
I believe only AT&T allows you to browse the web and make a call at the same time. They used that as a selling point over other service providers. Or maybe GSM iPhones in general, but definitely not Verizon or Sprint.
