How to get a refurbished iPhone 5s if I pay insurance for verizon?

So I just cracked the face of my iPhone 5s and I need a new one. Yes I know that I can just replace the screen but I want a new phone because the battery life is awful. So do I need to call a number or what to have it shipped to my house?

You need to file a claim.
if the phone is covered by the warranty, you will have to pay the deductible = then assurion (the verizon insurance company) will send you a replacement. It may be a new phone or a refurbished phone.

Call the insurance, file the claim, pay the deductible, mail your old phone in, and they'll send you the refurb.
