How to get a video from my iphone onto my mac?

I recorded a video on my iphone for a school project but it is 2 long to email straight from the phone so is there anyway i can like plug my phone into itunes and work from there and get it on my laptop so i can either email it to my teacher or transfer it to the flashdrive

Yes! You know your charger for your iPhone? Yeah, you should be able to see a USB plug inside the plug that you push into an electric socket. Gently pull that off and insert it into the USB slot inside your mac. I'm sure you'd know what to do from then.
