How to get an iPhone fixed without insurance?
I accidentally dropped my iPhone 4 into the a toilet. It was only in there for a second, I dried it off, turned it off and took out the sim card. I've submerged it in a bowl of uncooked rice and I will leave it in there for as long as I can but assuming that it won't work when I turn it back on. I have no insurance, is there somewhere I can get it fixed for free or cheap?
No need for comments telling me I'm stupid for having it near a toilet or not having insurance.
If a water-damaged phone has been dried out and is still malfunctioning, it can't be fixed (or it isn't cost effective to do so) since basically everything inside the device needs to be replaced.
You will need to purchase a replacement device out of your own pocket.
Can't be fixed for free, it no good anymore.
you will need to buy a new one at full price
- Would I get an iPhone 5 through insurance? My iPhone 3gs was stolen about 3 months ago. I have been waiting to replace it but my insurance gave me a date that I could replace it on without having to cancel my whole insurance plan out, and it has passed. As you all know, the iPhone 5 has been recently released, and I want to know if I can get the iPhone 5 under the same deductible price of 199$
- Will my Verizon insurance fixed my cracked iPhone 5c? A couple days ago I dropped my iPhone 5c I asked around and to have the screen fixed it will be about 130 I have insurance on it will Verizon fix it for me since it's has physical damage?

- Should I just get my cracked iPhone fixed or get a refurbished one? I have an iPhone 4 and I cracked the front pretty badly. The back only had on crack across it but the front is bothering me. Would it be better to pay $200 at apple to get it fixed? Or buy a refurbished one from them! Help! I'm a little nervous to attempt fixing it myself. I'm NOT good with things like that and after watching a video I'm 95% sure I'd ruin the phone/lose a screw lol.
