How to get boys number in my college class?

So, I'm in need of some help! I'm in my first year in community college… There's this kid in my class this semester who is super cute. I sit right next to him in my Psych class, which unfortunately is 3 hours long. I only see him once a week because our class only meets on Fridays. However, every day this past week I saw him walking to and from class and I even parked near him a couple of days. He notices me too, but we just make awkward eye contact. He is such a shy kid -- never speaks in class. Yesterday, I dropped my pen and he picked it up for me and I somehow got my pen stuck in my notebook and asked him to get out and we exchanged small conversation (yes, I got very very excited). Anyway, this is my first year and I believe this is his as well. I've tried finding him on Instagram/Twitter/Facebook, but only found a Facebook page that hasn't been updated since last year -- he isn't a social media person. He doesn't have an iPhone. I don't know what to do! Every day before my class I tell myself this is the day I'm actually gonna create conversation, but when I get there and he's sitting inches away from me, I get so nervous. Anything I can do?!

Funny, we all have been there to afraid to just to go up to someone and start a conversation and regret it later i'm in my 40's and wish I would of just braved up in school… Just do it. And don't worry if you get rejected better to know now if he's the one or not

He is the guy and should man up and talk to you. Seriously they say it doesn't matter who approaches who first but it does. Guys are supposed to be men, not a little kid in a 18+ year old body. I was a shy guy and still can be but I realize getting the girl is worth more than my pride getting hurt.

There isn't much you can do besides be blunt and straight forward. "Hey I really enjoyed talking to you, what's your number so we can continue this conversation some time". That way you aren't asking him you are implying that you have the right to get his number since you both seem so comfortable together. Now that is normally how I recommend a guy gets a girls number but it can work the other way around.

But if that won't get him out of his shell, then I don't think there's anything YOU can do to change him.
