How to get iphone 4s to ios 6 to ios 7?

I'm stuck at activation error and i don't know what to do. I'm scared, i can't restore it through it through itunes. I need help

Enter the phone in DFU mode.
Hold power for 5 seconds
while still holding the power button press the home button for 15 seconds then just hold the home button for the remainder of the time it takes your phone to say to connect to itunes.
THEN you would have to restore the phone then downgrade back to the version you were previously on… You should have that downloaded already.

You need to register your device's UDID with a developer account as soon as possible, through a site like http://www.udid.in/.It's $5, and then you will be able to activate your device. There's no other safe way out of this.

  • Will my iPhone 5 get bricked if i get ios 7 beta for free? I was just curious because i really want to get ios 7 for free after seeing a few youtube videos demonstrating on how to get it but i heard that when beta 2 releases for ios 7 that my iPhone 5 will get bricked. If that's the case i don't want to get ios 7 but if it's possible to unbrick my iPhone 5 can someone tell me? Can i downgrade from ios 7 to ios 6?

I didn't really care for the new look of ios 7 and never updated the software on my iPhone 4s, but now that ios 8 is out, I wish I had updated to 7 while I still could. I really feel like my software is old and outdated, so it would be nice to upgrade. Is there any way to upgrade to 7 now? If not, I'll stay at 6 because I hear ios 8 runs terribly on 4s.

I've heard that i shouldn't update to ios 6.1.3 if i want to jailbreak my iphone so i want to update to ios 6.1.2 but itunes won't let me.
