How to get more memory on my iPhone 4S?
About three weeks ago I purchased an iPhone 4S 8gb. I know that 8gb isn't a lot. I currently have 7 apps downloaded (Vine, Kik, Instagram, snapchat, Jetpack joyride, what's app and itube)
I only have about 12 photos. I can't take anymore pictures. I also turned iCloud backup off. I used to have about 14 apps, but then I deleted 7 of them because I didn't have any memory left. But even though I deleted them, it's still coming up that I don't have any memory left!
I just want to know if there's anything wrong with my phone.
There's nothing wrong with your iPhone and no you can't increase the memory of the iPhone. When you bought this small storage size iPhone you should have decided what Apps you will use. So keeping two or three of the most important apps delete / uninstall the rest. Hopefully this will work.
No that's how apple devices work and they do not allow you to add memory. If you want more memory on an apple device you have to buy a new one. Apple if greedy like that.
If you want a better phone that allows you to add memory among other good things you need a different brand like a Samsung galaxy phone.
- Will updating my iPhone 4s take up more memory? I still haven't update my iPhone 4s to the latest update due to not enough memory left. I needed 2.8 GB in order to update it, so I deleted a few videos and apps and now have exactly 2.8 GB left of space. If I do the update, will it take up the rest of the space on my phone? (the 2.8 GB considering it needs 2.8 to update)
- Why does my iTunes add more memory to my iPhone? I just had a 2 MBs left to use on my iPhone so I deleted some apps and ended up having about 800 MBs available to use. I sync it once and immediately its cut in half to 400 and a couple times letter I'm back to where I started and that's pretty frustrating considering I've added 10 MBs maybe total since that time. Does anyone know why that is happening? I thought it was genius play list but I turned that off and still nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

- Possible to switch iphone 6 hard drive into iphone 6s harddrive? (for more memory space)? So I've broken my old iphone 6 which had way more storage than this new one, and I was wondering if I can change the hard drives or whatever holds the memory from phone to phone. I did buy an iPhone 6s so I'm not sure if the iphone 6 and 6s has different hardwares or whatever. But just curious.
