How to get my contacts from my iPhone to my new iPad for FaceTime?
How do I transfer from mobile to iPad for FaceTime?
Icloud
You just have to tap the phone to the iPad screen fairly hard not to hard and then it will automatically transfer them
Sync your contacts using iTunes to the iPad or restore from the iPhone's backup again using iTunes.
Try 4Videosoft iPad Manager Platinum. I've transferred my iPhone files to my iPad. You can have a try. Do as the follows:
First, it's necessary to run the program on your computer
Second, connect your iPhone and new iPad to the program via USB
Third, select your iPhone contacts from the left file list, and then click "Transfer file(s) from device to device" button to choose your new iPad as the target destination
I hope the above steps would be helpful for you. It's very easy to use anyway.
I can recommend you AnyMP4 iPhone Transfer Platinum, which can help you transfer iPhone contacts and SMS to computer or other Apple devices. It is so easy to use and you can have a try.
- Where does FaceTime get your contacts from? This is on a mac, not an iPhone. I rarely use FaceTime but I went to call a friend. When I went to my contacts list, it has a whole bunch of people listed. I know all these people but most of them not well at all. I thought it was from my phone, but some of the people, I've never had in my contact list before. And some who were, were not on the list. My high school chemistry teacher is even on there. I'm super confused haha.
- I restricted FaceTime from my child's iPhone 5s but she can still make FaceTime calls to her friends because there's a video icon? There's a video icon next to her friends name in her phone list. How can I completely remove this icon please?
- I'm trying to back up my gen 1 iPad to iCloud to setup my new iPad mini 5th gen but the older one isn't backing up to iCloud? And the the mini isn't syncing to my decktop computer. What do I do? Are there other ways to do this?
- How to receive FaceTime calls through my iPhone's number on my iPad? I have an iPhone 4S and I use FaceTime on it daily, now I have an iPad I would like to use my iPhone's number to receive iMessages and FaceTime calls, is this possible? This is instead of using my Apple I'd on the iPad. Thanks Thanks for the help, I fixed it by adding the iPads Apple ID to the iPhones FaceTime in settings, then it shared all of the methods of receiving and I clicked the iPhones number on both the iPhone and the iPad.
