How to get my iPhone 4S to a Wi-Fi hot spot?
I have AT&T
Is there like an app? Or is it already built in? If so how to use?
Does it have a separate fee?
I don't think the iPhone 4S can do that only the 5. But if it can you go to settings>general>cellular and turn on your cellular data and personal hotspot should pop up
I have an iPhone 4s and I do this all the time. You will need to have tethering on your plan or else the cell phone company might charge you more when you do this. Go to Settings and you should see Personal Hotspot right underneath Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. You will need to set a password and share it with anyone who you want to share your Internet with.
- Why can't I use Wi-Fi on my iPhone as a hot spot? I can only use my phones network carrier data and 3G when I go to use my phones hotspot and not Wi-Fi. I used to be with BT Wi-Fi but can't afford it at the moment. For some reason I'm Able to still use BT Fons on my phone for Wi-Fi. But can't connect it to my laptop. Any help would be appreciated
