How to get my iphone 5c data back?

I just downloaded ios 8.0.2 and my iphone 5c turned off in the middle of downloading. My phone went into recovery mode and it told me that i needed to factory reset my phone. I did this since i backed up my data on icloud but afterward when i tried to get my data back it told me i never backed up my iphone. I know for a fact that i did back up my phone. Is there any hope of getting my photos or apps back?

P.S. I tried some of those data recovery sites but the ones i tried cost money. If there are any free ones i will try them

I would always make a backup of photos by just copying to PC with windows explorer, then copy to thumb drive, that way you know you always have them for sure

  • Will I be able to get my iPhone data back? Today, my iphone 4s got stuck in recovery mode whilst trying to update to iOS 6.0.1 or whatever. I updated then restored the iphone and it said I would be able to redownload my apps, contacts, etc back. But will my music that was only on my iphone still be on there? It was not backed up on any computer. What about preorders? And accounts on the iphone? Xx

  • If I restore my iPhone can I get back game data? Like the Kim Kardashian game for example. If I redownload it will the Game Center let me continue where I left off?
  • If I delete a game on my iphone, can I use icloud to get the data back? I got GTA Vice City 100% Completion on my iphone and I saw gta San Andreas but I need to delete gta vice city to get it. I used cloud saving so I if I delete the game and download it again, will my cloud save of gta vice city still be there? I really want to play gta sa but If I delete gta VC, will I still have my cloud save back?
