How to get my pictures back? - 1

My dad sold my iphone 4 but before he sold it he put it in recovery mode I was wondering if I buy a new iphone from Verizon is there a way I can get my pictures, contacts and music back

Contacts, yes. Verizon automatically backs up all your contacts on a routine basis.

Your music and photos are stored on the camera and unless you copied all of them to a memory card or emailed them to yourself, they are probably lost and gone forever.

Do you have the original memory card from the original phone? If not no… Also even if you do your new phone probably won't read the information.

Call me cynical but I don't think there's a way.
