How to get my videos off of my computer and onto my Iphone?
I need to know…
If your video is already mp4 video, you can import the mp4 video into iTunes at first. Connect your iPhone to computer through USB cable, iTunes will recognize the iPhone automatically, and then go to iTunes menu 'File -> Sync iPhone', the video will be transferred to iPhone. If your video is not iPhone compatible mp4 video, you have to convert the video to the right format first. Format factory is a free video converting software that can help you do the job.
I wouldn't sync your iPhone as the other poster suggested. Instead, after you've connected your iPhone and started iTunes
hit ctrl s to bring up sidebar
click on the iphone tab and
in the main summary page, check the box called "manual management of music and video"
Then drag and drop your video files to the iPhone tab on sidebar.
This works on both devices old (my 3rd Gen iTouch) and new (iPhone 5)
The advantage of manual management over syncing is that anything not on your iTunes library on the computer gets erased from the iPhone when "synced". Also, you get hassled when you try to connect to another computer.
If Format Factory does not work, try "Any Video Converter" - that's what I've used.
For an iPhone you can convert to h.264; You can also choose vxid as as your ouput container - it takes up less space, and you'll probably miss any difference in video quality. You can also convert to 3GP (3G2) which was designed years ago for cellphones - the quality is noticeably lower, but it takes up much less space.
- How do I get pictures off my iPhone and onto my computer? Is there an easy way to transfer photos taken on my iPhone onto my computer? I'm worried that if I click the option to sync the phone with iPhoto, it will just put all those photos on the phone instead of taking pictures off of it.
- How to transfer a large amount of photos off of my iphone and onto my computer? I have 9300 pictures exactly on my iphone and It won't let me sinc the photos or download them to iphoto on my computer because I have too many, they take up all the memory. I really don't want to loose them and I have no idea how to get them off. I don't use Icloud, should I or is there something else I should try because it takes to long to send them individually
- How to save videos that I uploaded onto my facebook onto my iphone? I can save pictures but I want to know how I can do that with videos. I have uploaded videos onto my facebook from my computer, and now I want to save them on my iphone. If anyone knows, the help will be greatly appreciated!
- How to save DVD files onto my computer than transfer them onto iTunes? I recently bought Green Day's "Bullet in a Bible" and "Awesome As ***" as well as All Time Low's "Straight to DVD." Since I have the physical copies, I would like to save the DVD files onto my computer so that I could transfer them onto iTunes and eventually sync them onto my iPhone. I just can't figure it out.
