How to get photos not to open, windows 8?
Whenever I plug my iPhone into my new Lenovo laptop with windows 8 it keeps opening the picture library. How do I get this to stop? Please and Thank you!
Try change the file associated with application your preferred to open the picture will do.
You need to go to the settings and make it so it asks you every time what you want to do.
1. Move your cursor top right so the charms appear.
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Change PC settings
4. Click/tap on PC & devices
5. Click/tap on AutoPlay on the left side
6. On the right side under AutoPlay, move the slider to the left to turn it off
or You could specify how a specific device acts when you plug it in by manually changing the settings. I set my to ask me each time, just like in W7:)
When you plug your phone into the computer a popup will display in the top RH corner asking you or saying there's an APP to open the file. If will not display → Windows Explorer → Right click iPhone → Open AutoPlay
- Windows 7 Laptop will not import iPhone 3GS photos, but imports videos? I tried to import photos and videos from my 3GS using the import photos button built in to Windows 7. For some reason the photos will not import when I try, but the videos will. I get the message "The following error occurred while importing IMG_0003.JPG: The system can't find the path specified. What do you want to do? Try again, Skip this file, Skip all files with errors." The phone was unlocked and it still did not work.
- My iPhone isn't connecting properly to my Windows XP computer? Not detecting photos? I've been trying to view my photos from my iPhone and transfer music from my computer onto it but its not working. The Camera and Scanner Wizard thing opens and a pop up comes up on my phone saying "Trust This Computer?" and I select "Trust" and it appears to try to sync but then it fails. The wizard says there are no photos on my camera but there are! How do I fix this? My USB cable isn't loose or anything and when I got into my computer it shows Apple Iphone.
- Itunes won't open on Windows 7? I want to get music on my iphone, so i downloaded itunes. But when i installed it and tried to open i get a pop-up that says "Itunes has stopped working." before it even opens. I tried reinstalling it and i even installed an older version to see if it works, but it didn't. Can someone tell me why it won't open? I had a older version of itunes, but after the update, it stopped working. How can i fix this?
- I'm not able to open files (photos) or import them from my phone to my laptop, can someone help me solve this issue? I have an iPhone and a Microsoft laptop. I connect the two together with a charging cable and when i connect my phone to my laptop it charges so the cable is functional. But when i go to open a file the option to do so usually is but all i can open details about my phone but no photos extra.
