How to get pictures off of broken iPhone?
Yesterday, my iPhone 4 decided to just shut down completely and it won't turn on. I took it to the store and I'm getting a replacement sent to me, but I have pictures from years before I even got the phone in my camera roll and they're not saved to my iCloud. Is there any way I can save these pictures? Anything would be helpful and appreciated!
Have you backed up your phone data on a home computer or laptop? By default, if you use iTunes and regularly sync your iPhone using iTunes, then that computer may have a backup of your phone, including the pictures. Otherwise, if there's no way for you to turn it on, there are places to go where they can recover the data from your phone's hard-drive, but it is usually a very expensive service.
Unfortunately, I haven't. I don't think I ever have but thank you!
- When apple replaces a broken iphone, do you get to keep the old broken one? The back camera on my iPhone 4s broke (just stopped working), so I called Apple and I have an appointment set up to replace the old phone with a brand new one. But, I want to know if when they give me the new phone, will they let me keep the old one? The phone still works fine except for the camera. In fact, it's almost perfect. And obviously I want to sell the old one on ebay to make a boat load.
- My iphone is completely broken, but I need pictures off of it? I recently dropped my iPhone 5s on concrete and it shattered. It won't turn on and my computer won't recognize it. I've charged it fully, but still nothing. Right before I dropped it, I had taken some really great pictures from my vacation. I checked my icloud, but my pictures didn't transfer over to it. How can I get my photos? They're really important to me and I don't live anywhere close to an apple store.
- If I delete my pictures off my iPhone, will it delete my pictures on Dropbox as well? I'm going on a trip overseas and really want to empty out my Camera Roll Pictures off my phone before I leave. I don't own a Macbook so I have to use Dropbox in order to move all my photos to my PC. I really want to empty out my pictures and i'm afraid that I will loose everything on Dropbox if I delete my pictures on my Camera Roll.
- I want to get the photos off my broken iPhone? So I smashed my iPhone 4S, the screen is shattered, the back came off and the battery came out ( Of course is doesn't turn on ). I've tried plugging my phone into the computer to get the photos off. Any ideas?
