How to get pictures off of iPhone onto PC?
Every time I plug my phone in iTunes just pops up, so any ideas how I can get pictures off my phone on to my laptop, i have windows 7 btw.
I use Dropbox--download the version onto your computer and phone and the two will sync. It's easy and awesome.
1. Connect phone to computer.
2. Ignore the iTunes pop up.
3. Click on "Start" button (bottom left on Windows desktop screen)
4. Click on "computer", iPhone should show up as "device with removable storage"
5. Open files, find photo's, cut and paste or copy into a new folder.
To create a new folder right click anywhere on your desktop screen, click new, name it, and away you go!
- How do I get pictures off my iPhone and onto my computer? Is there an easy way to transfer photos taken on my iPhone onto my computer? I'm worried that if I click the option to sync the phone with iPhoto, it will just put all those photos on the phone instead of taking pictures off of it.
- If I replace my iPhone 4 can I get my pictures and stuff back onto it? My lock button recently got stuck. So I might be getting it replaced at the closest Verizon store. If I do, can they somehow get all my pictures, apps, and contacts onto it somehow?
- If I delete my pictures off my iPhone, will it delete my pictures on Dropbox as well? I'm going on a trip overseas and really want to empty out my Camera Roll Pictures off my phone before I leave. I don't own a Macbook so I have to use Dropbox in order to move all my photos to my PC. I really want to empty out my pictures and i'm afraid that I will loose everything on Dropbox if I delete my pictures on my Camera Roll.
- I can't get my iPhone to download any of my pictures onto my PC. How can I fix this? I have Windows 8.1 and I tried to go into the Control Panel -> Scanners and cameras and so on, but I couldn't see where to fix it in properties. The suggestion wasn't there. I really don't want to email them to myself.
