How to get rid of activation lock on iphone 5s?
So today i found an iphone 5s on a table and when i got home i reseted it but now after i try to setup the phone it asks me for the previous owners apple id and password and it won't allow me to continue until i put it in. I was wondering if there's any way i can bypass this wether i can go to apple or some sort of phone fixing store or do it on my computer btw i live in los angeles california
You need to contact with the owner, there's no other way to bypass iCloud activation
So you are asking for the community to help you steal an iPhone? I don't think we will.
There's no way around activation lock. It is designed to keep people like you from using a phone you've stolen. The phone will report its location as soon as it is turned on, even after the reset.
You idiot!
That's not your phone, you can't do what you want with it.
If the police were to be notified, you could possibly be jailed for being in possession of stolen property.
Anyways, it's impossible to get past the iCloud lock. It's there for a reason. No matter how much you beg, there's no way to bypass it. It's basically a useless phone.
- Will I get activation lock if I restore? So my Iphone 5 running iOS 7.0.4 got stuck on apple logo. The problem is that I'm using a different apple id than before and I don't remember my password and thus i can't around Activation Lock. But before i got this problem i turned off find my iphone but on my newer itunes id if this has any connection whatsoever.
- Will flashing my iphone get rid of the activation lock? I bought a iphone 4s from someone and they forgot to sighn the iphone off of there icloud account. So i'm wondering if i have it flashed ( say by Metro PCS os something ) will the iphone be like new again?
- Why did I get an activation lock in regards to 'Find my iPhone'? So yesterday I was in the middle of texting my friend until my phone switched off then like 5 seconds later the apple logo came up. Then I was told to enter my Apple ID and password etc and something to with find my iPhone. I can't remember the exact words but it also said "it may take a few minutes to activate your phone". I bought my iPhone from a second hand shop in 2014. So what did this mean?
- Who can tell me how to get past that activation lock on iPhone 5s? I have proof of purchase to an iPhone 5s I purchased from eBay. Apple informed me that they or my phone provider could bypass the activation lock and that is why I purchased the phone for a better price than buying brand new. Then neither the Apple store nor AT&T could help me with my problem. The seller hasn't been much of a help and will not give me the information I need to get past the activation lock, is there another way?
