How to get rid of water in iPhone?

Ok so I dropped my phone in water. I was told to submerge it in rice and that will help. It did but I can still see the water on the screen and my phone will keep telling me Charging is not supported with this accessory. Is there a way to completely air it out? Should I leave it in rice longer? Should I give up hope?

It's waterproof. Keep it in sunlight for five hours, and turn it over every hour. It should do the job. If not, try the hair dryer.
Hope I helped ^_^

Try leaving it in rice longer. If that still doesn't work try installing a new jack and screen

My husband dropped his iPhone into a creek once and it took him 3 minutes to find it. I set a hairdryer to cool and blowdried it, THEN riced it over night. It fired right up the next morning. This won't totally "save" your phone, though. Corrosion will still begin and in a few months you'll have to replace it. There's no way to completely save your phone when it's been submerged.

Put it in plastic bag or any air tight container along with rice, puffed rice (if possible), or the best option will be some silica gel.remember, you can't take it out even for a minute during this time. And you have to keep it there for 3 to 4 days. And with the sim slot open. After 4 days, it will be as good as new.
hope this helps…
best wishes…

Just slightly shift the iPhone body, and use the cotton stick to absorb the water,

be careful, and you can finish it.

GET IT OUT OF THE WATER QUICK AND DRY IT TAKE OFF THE CASE GET A SOMETHING THAT WILL FIT THOUGH THE CHARGING THING TURN OFF SET IN SUN LEAVE SOME HOURERS AND FLIP SIDE EVERY HOUR

  • Should I get rid of my iPhone and get a basic phone? I've had an iPhone for 2 years, and my contract runs out 9/2/12, should I get a 4s or a Pantech Jest 2? I want to save my dad money, and all I really use my iPhone for is music and Facebook. My friends say I should stick with my iPhone, but I don't know… Share your input, thanks
  • My iPhone has water in it how can I get the water out? I got a little bit of water in it at my pool and it shutoff within a minute or so, it won't turn back on and I have had it in rice for over 10 hours.
  • Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
  • Iphone submerged in water, logic board has water damage? My phone was under water for 10 sec. Atleast and in my wet pocket for about 2 minutes. Led wouldnt turn off and power / lock button didn't work… Put it in rice and two days later i charge it apple logo pops up then writing pops up above the apple logo. Will the guy taking my phone to clean it out and try to fix it need my passcode? And will my contacts, apps, photos, music, internet history still be on my phone? Like when he fixes it turns and on and stuff?
