How to get text messages sent to my lost iPhone?
So I lost my iPhone 2 days ago, and my friend didn't know and he sent me a text last night. Is there any way I could read it? He won't tell me what he sent. Like can I read it through imessage or something? Does iCloud save text messages?
IF the phone was on when the text was sent, it is waiting on the phone for you to see it.
IF the phone was off when the text was sent, it is lost to the ether, especially if the battery died and no one has found it and turned it on.
Maybe Apple will address being able to via backed up iCloud text on an update to iCloud. As a web dashboard to read text, like you can email, sent to your me@cloud.com account.
If auto backup to iCloud was not turned on, for say backing up every hour or once a day, all is lost if it was again not on.
