How to get the Wi-Fi password for Iphones?

I have an IPhone 3G. I have alot of apps, considering my daughters (4 and 12) like to play games on there. My husband also uses it for research whenever a computer is not near by, and I use the internet for some of my work stuff too. I'm usually the only one who uses it, but ever since my husband started using it for his work research, my kid have gotten a little upset since that takes time out of their time for playing on apps. So they get an extended time so it will be fair. I got a message this morning saying:

''This is a courtesy reminder that you have used 65% of your 3GB data plan allowance for the bill cycle ending on 11/15/12. Any overage is charged @ $10/1GB. TIP: Mobile data is unlimited over Wi-Fi.''

I have AT&T if it matters. The Wi-Fi networks all require a password. I have these Wi-Fi options: GZZX7, I1BN2, SNTD3, and ''other''.

You ask whoever owns the Wi-Fi network for the password, assuming they're willing to share with you. If you see these networks from your home, they belong to your neighbors, who may be wiling to share of you pay part of their bill.

Odd names for Wi-Fi connections. Sounds like those are the connections available around the iPhone. Problem is, those are other people's Wi-Fi networks so therefore you can't access them without those passwords which of course they wouldn't give away.

Every Wi-Fi network is different. Since they are set up by individual people near you (which is how the phone detects them), the name and password could be anything - it has nothing to do with what kind of phone you have. The only way to find out the password is to know who set up the network, and ask them - but don't expect them to tell you, since if you use their network, you'll basically be freeloading off of something they're paying for.

Here's one idea - if you CAN figure out who owns one of the networks, you might make an agreement with your neighbor to pay them a share of their monthly Internet bill. That would be fair - but note that Internet providers don't like it when people do this, so keep it quiet.

And here's another idea - upgrade your iPhone's data plan so that you won't run out of data. It'll cost more but it will be simpler than figuring out Wi-Fi.
