How to get widows live movie maker video onto my iPhone?
I did a really quick edit of a GoPro bike crash on windows live movie maker and I want to get it on my iPhone so I can post it on Instagram. The current file is saved as a.wlmp
You don't have a video yet! The WLMP file is the project file - you need to render the video file ("Make Movie" in Windows speak) before you have something you can watch. I don't use either WLMM or Instagram, so I'm hoping someone else can tell you the best format for rendering your video - if not, you'll need to do some experimenting. Once you've got the video file you can transfer it to the iPhone via iTunes. If you haven't already got iTunes installed on your PC, have a look at Tonido instead - it's less of a resource hog and, in my opinion, it's a better / more useful program.
Open your project file in Windows Live Movie Maker. On the right side of the Home tab, click on Save Movie. Scroll down to the "Phone and device settings" section and you'll see an option for the "Apple iPhone".
- Windows Movie Maker won't let me use a video I recorded with my iPhone 4? Why not? I open Windows Movie Maker, and I browse through my pictures/videos and it's not there. Every video I have with my webcam is there, but none of my videos with my iPhone is there. And I don't want to upload the video straight from my iphone because I know the quality will end up being terrible. What do I do?
- Why won't windows movie maker let me use my video? So i have videos from my iphone that i want to put on WMM, but it wouldnt let me because of the format. I installed a codec and converted it to AVI from. MOV and it won't let me look at the video, its just a black screen.
- Why isn't my video working in Windows Live Movie Maker? My laptop runs on windows 7, and I've had it for over a year. I've imported an iPhone 6 video to my laptop and have opened it in movie maker to rotate. There's two problems. One, the video will not show up in the left side display screen, and two, the video will not rotate. (judging by the icons on the right side of movie maker) What can be done to fix this problem?
