How to imessage someone with an Irish cell phone (iphone 6) that is currently in the Us. I'm in the US and have an american iphone
I have an urgent question. I recently met someone that is from Ireland. She is here in the US for a couple weeks. She has an iphone and she gave me her number. I also have an Iphone. I tried sending her multiple texts but the Imessage sign never appears and it keeps on sending as a normal text message (green). I tried calling, but I don't think she got an international plan, so her phone won't be active unless she's in Wi-Fi areas. When I text her iphone should I use international area codes as if I Was calling an international number or should I text it normally as people in ireland would? The structure of the number she gave me was 00353-86-xxx-xxxx. I did some research online and some websites say to use 011 and omit the two zeroes. Her normal phone number are without the two zeroes and without the 86. She's doing alot of traveling so I don't think she will be in alot of Wi-Fi areas. Any advice would help.
Use the number that she gave you - she's included the international dialing code for Ireland (Eire) which is 353!
Don't over complicate!
- What cell phone, and company, is the best for someone who just listens to music, streams shows/videos, and texts? Cheapest plans/phones? I occasionally talk on my phone, and/or take photos. Also, can I still get the food/ride share apps if I don't have an IPhone? I live in a mid-sized city in the mid-west. (over 100,000 pop. And over 70 square miles)
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- Is it possible to unlock an English iPhone to put in an Irish sim? My aunt has the iPhone 4 and she'll give it to me for free (of course!). But how much would it cost to unlock the phone in England? Everything's cheaper there!
- If I buy an iPhone 6s from Apple UK site, can I use an Irish debit card to pay? I would like to buy a new iPhone 6s but they are only available in the UK and a few other countries at the moment. I live in Ireland, but could get it delivered to a UK address. Can I use an Irish debit card to purchase one on the UK site?
