How to improve tv reception? Don't say get cable?
Ever since the DTV change, I only get a few channels pretty reliably. First, it was mainly CBS, any other channels required constant antenna adjustment.
Then I moved and channell 65 (ION) also almost always works great. But sometimes passing traffic or windy weather seems to make reception go in and out whichever channell I'm watching. Always with airplanes, it goes out.
Sometimes it's late and I'm winding down for bed and the reception issues get me wound up again. I love to read, but that gets me more absorbed, not good for getting sleepy.
I have an iPhone because my previous phone, which I had for five years, got old and died. Outside of that, I don't own anything made in the last 15 years. Nor do I want to. I just miss tv being relaxing, requiring a remote and no physical activity.
I feel like I'm living in the old rabbit-ear days, when my brother wired a fork onto the antenna to help reception. Only instead of static, my shows have momentary total blackouts.
Cable tv sucks. When I watch cable in hotels, they have annoying ads for future shows running across the middle of the screen in the middle of shows, and commercial breaks seem longer and more frequent. I'm a one-thing-at-a-time type, and distractions bother me more than most people.
First there's no such thing as a digital aerial, so don't worry about that. You just need a better aerial fixed securely and on target.
Hello you can get a outdoor antenna hd with a built in rotor for about 50 too 100 bucks or if you allready have a aeriel then try buying a antenna amplifier http://www.ebay.com/...0903947130 http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3780245&filterName=Type&filterValue=Amplifiers hope this helps!

- How to improve tv Wi-Fi reception? Recently bought a vizio smart tv with Wi-Fi reception.Wi-Fi signal is very strong with laptop and iphone, however, low and frustrating on the tv even in the same room. The router is only 25 to 30 feet away as we live in a very small home. Is there a way to boost the tv reception that is cost efficient?
