I have an iPhone 3GS and it has no reception?

My iPhone is jailbrake would this effect it? It's on O2 I try to call people says call failure, I've tried all the auto time and caller I d nothing can someone please help. Is it because of the jailbrake or what

I have found that if you go into an area with no reception for some time then my iPhone loses service.

I reset the iPhone and this will normally sort everything out. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

When you reset you should not loose any of your data, however if you were entering data into an application this may be lost.

  • Will the iphone 5c have better reception in my house than my iphone 4? Currently my calls always drop out and i have to go outside, i'm considering changing service providers however will a iphone 5c help my reception or should i change service provider?
  • Verizon iPhone 4 very slow with 3G reception? Even when I have a full 5 bars of reception on my Verizon iPhone 4, it can still take a very long time to load even the simplest pages or send messages. Usually when this happens, the circular revolving loading symbol that appears next to the "3G" will lag, it won't stay consistently turning which makes me think it's having a hard time loading pages. Also, my messages will sometimes send twice or reach the recipient hours after I send them a text.
  • Replaced iphone screen, now bad Wi-Fi reception? Ok so i just replaced my iphone screen and now the Wi-Fi connection is terrible i'm not even 10ft from away from my router and it doesn't pick up anything!
  • No reception in apartment, iphone app for making calls and texting through wi-fi? I've got an iphone 5 with t-mobile, the apartment i live in gives me literally no reception at all. But as soon as i step out of it, i get an immidiate 3-4 bars, so I figured it's just my apartment. Does anyone know of any iphone apps that can use my phone number to make calls and text through wi-fi while still allowing me to keep my t- mobile service? So that i can still get calls and texts while in my apartment?
