How to increase the lifespan of my iPhone?
My battery's life span was very good but as I started using it the phone dies alot faster. I lose about 10% in 45 minutes wether or not it's being used. I know about the differnt tricks like turning of location finder for some apps and things like that. But I'm wondering if there are any charging tricks that increase the life instead of application settings
Maybe its the battery you should get a new one
If you live in an area where your connection is constantly dropped, your iPhone constantly searches for new connections, which after awhile eats a chunk out of a battery.
If its an older one, or you didn't charge it all the way when you charged it, it could be worn down.
Turn on airplane mode and you can still have Wi-Fi.mine has airplane mode on 24/7 and i can turn on Wi-Fi too
While airplane mode will help you save battery, you'll disable any incoming and outgoing signals, which means no calls or texts, which makes your phone essentially useless, at least how I use my phone. Next time don't get sucked into thinking the iPhone is the best thing since sliced bread and do some real research. Every iPhone friend I have complains of their battery life.

- What is the approximate lifespan of an iPhone 4? What is the approximate amount of time that Apple will continue support for the iPhone 4? Is it reasonable that the device will remain non-obsolete for the next two years?
- Is there a cost increase for a data plan with an iPhone? I have a Droid X2 with a data plan allowing for 2Gb of data a month from Verizon. I'm considering buying an iPhone 4 from a friend but would like to know if the cost for the same data plan on the same carrier would increase just because its an iPhone
