How to jailbreak iPhone 3GS (New Bootrom) iOS 6.0.1?

I have an iPhone 3GS (New Bootrom) iOS 6.0.1 and I want to jailbreak it. I don't mind if its tethered or untethered.

Mate i used iPhone5Break new Untethered jailbreak 6.0.1 to jailbreak my iPhone 5.

now the jailbreak mighty not be for every one you do have to pay for it.

but i just can't wait like all the regualr people for six months for the free version of jailbreak i have to have cydia.

mate the jailbreak is good works great for me i would share the jailbreak 6.0.1 but they only give me one license key.

It will be tethered jailbreak… For old bootroms untethered jailbreak works just fine.

should have never upgraded to ios 6!

  • Will updating Iphone 3GS to ioS 6.0 ruin screw up my jailbreak? I don't know how to ask this… Sorry if my wording makes no sense. I have an Iphone 3GS, and I want to update it iOs 6.0, but won't that take the jailbreak or whatever off? And I will have to jailbreak it again?
  • My iphone 3gs bootrom, is it old or new? So i'm in need of a firmware update to 5.1.1 and an unlock, seeing as i don't want to get it factory unlocked, i'm just going to use the cydia app that does it for me. Only problem is my boot rom, i don't know if its old or new, i used a program that says i have the new boot rom, but then my iphone was made in (Week:01, 01/2010), and part of the serial number is 001. Which i though is the old boot rom, so which one is it? New or old?
