How to jailbreak iphone 3gs on 5.0.1?
I can't use RedSn0w because Mac OS X 10.8.3 won't let you open a non-Apple program.
Is there a way to do it without using a laptop?
Mac OS X CAN let you open a non-Apple program, you have your security settings set to only open Apps from the Mac App store…
To do this click on the Apple -> System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> General -> Allow Applications downloaded from -> Anywhere
If you can't click anywhere, that means it is locked. Simply click the lock where you see "Click the lock to make changes" and enter your password, if you have one set.
- Will updating Iphone 3GS to ioS 6.0 ruin screw up my jailbreak? I don't know how to ask this… Sorry if my wording makes no sense. I have an Iphone 3GS, and I want to update it iOs 6.0, but won't that take the jailbreak or whatever off? And I will have to jailbreak it again?
